What is going to be flat?
What is it to make flat?
First of all, what is the meaning of being flat?

In Japanese, 'flat' has the following meanings:
      As a noun:
        plane surface
      As an adjective:
      1. A word to explain the sense of plane surface
      2. Put things superficially

On stage is a steep slope, which is a living room floor. Accordingly a living room is located inside a house, and there is a family living there. The family eats meals in homey atmosphere every day on the steep slope. Tables and chairs are nailed in order not to slide down; however, meals at this table cost the family member so much energy, for they cannot be nailed. They try to continue eating with smile, at the same time creep up the slope, or run up to the top at a dash, cling to the chairs and struggle against gravity. Even if they slip down in the middle of a meal, they have to crawl up again to the table and continue their conversation as though nothing was wrong. It is not allowed to quit this family circle. The family has maintained this family circle for long, which is quite tough for their mentality as well. It seems as if everyone has forgotten how it started, or why it has to go on.....
